I can't believe I've never tried riding the
Monorail in my more than two years here in Dubai. It was so much fun! Last Saturday, we grabbed some of our friends with us to finally try the Monorail in Palm Jumeirah Island. It's a driver-less train that connects the man-made island to the rest of Dubai. A return trip costs less than seven dollars and shows passengers really stunning views. The journey is short but sweet, and will surely make you see this Emirate in a different and exciting light. Here are some of the photos I took while inside the train:
From the beaches along Jumeirah and the amazing skyscrapers, to the renowned Burj Al Arab hotel and Atlantis, a ride in the Monorail is definitely a must-try. There's so much to see! It's really an experience!
Hope all of you are enjoying a fabulous weekend too. What have you been up to? :)
